A U.S. appeals court has temporarily halted new rules issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requiring public companies to disclose climate-related risks.
The Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals granted a request for an administrative stay on the climate-disclosure rules just over a week after oil-field-services companies Liberty Energy and Nomad Proppant Services filed a lawsuit challenging them.

Microsoft expanded its Copilot Pro subscription globally, offering priority access to OpenAI models, custom Copilot GPT creation and integration with Office apps.
A one-month free trial is available, accessible by installing the Copilot app on iOS or Android. Microsoft also extended Copilot for Microsoft 365 to more businesses and plans to launch further enhancements at its Build developer conference in May.
