ChatGPT: OpenAI Launches Preview of GPT-4 Turbo

OpenAI unveiled GPT-4 Turbo, offering responses with knowledge up to April 2023 – an improvement over its predecessor’s January 2022 cutoff date.

 

The context window (the amount of text you can use in your prompts and conversations) has also been increased from about 3,000 words to approximately 300 pages, making the platform significantly more useful for real-world tasks. 

 

Sports Illustrated Accused of Publishing Articles by Fake, AI-Generated Writers


An investigative report found authors within SI’s product review team didn’t have any sort of presence outside of the sports site, on social media or in the publishing world. A deeper dive found that a profile photo for one of the authors was for sale on a website that peddles AI-generated images of nonexistent people.

SI’s publisher, The Arena Group, denied the accusations of AI-generated content and said that the fabricated profiles were put in place in the name of protecting the author privacy. But insiders dispute this.
